In-Person Grooming School in Texas

"If I could give 10 stars I would. I’ve been trying to figure out how to put into words what this academy and Jacey mean to me, and honestly, I don’t think I ever could. When I walked into the academy on my very first day, I had absolutely zero grooming skills and very little confidence in myself. I was excited, but I was also nervous and had no idea what I was doing. I never could have imagined how much would change in just 8 weeks. One of the things I loved most about this academy was how small and personal it was. I got so much one-on-one, hands-on training with Jacey, and that made such a huge difference for me. I never felt afraid to ask questions, even when I thought they were probably silly questions. Jacey never once made me feel judged, embarrassed, or like I wasn’t good enough. She always encouraged me, reassured me, and pushed me to keep going when I needed it. The online curriculum that goes along with the hands-on training was also incredible. It gave me something to study outside of school, helped me prepare for the next day, and allowed me to retain so much more of what I was learning. I truly feel like the combination of the online education and hands-on training prepared me for the real world in a way I didn’t expect. After I graduated, I got a job within three days. When I started my new job, my boss was genuinely amazed at how advanced my skills were after only 24 days of hands-on training. I went from knowing absolutely nothing and questioning whether I could really do this, to walking into a salon and being told that I was far more prepared than expected. That is something I will always be proud of and something I will always credit Jacey for helping me accomplish. But more than anything, I’m grateful that I didn’t just leave this academy with grooming skills. I left with confidence, believing in myself & I left with a mentor who became someone I genuinely care about and love. She still tells me all the time she’s just a phone call away. Jacey, I hope you know how much of an impact you’ve had on me. You were patient with me when I needed patience, encouraging when I needed encouragement, and you believed in me before I fully believed in myself. You taught me so much more than how to groom dogs… you helped me realize that I really can do this. I truly wish I could give you a review that is good enough to explain how grateful I am, but I don’t think there are enough words. If you’re thinking about becoming a groomer, PLEASE go learn from Jacey. I would recommend her academy to every single person who wants to enter this industry. I will forever be grateful that I chose this school, and even more grateful that I got Jacey as my instructor.
